During his latest infomercial pumping up the Macon Miracle, Bibb County School Superintendent Romain Dallemand told a crowd at the Macon Rotary Club that he had 'always decided' to pay for his trip to Belgium, and said that local reporters who brought it out, that would be me,  are 'creating sensationalism'.  No doctor....We are  holding you accountable like Cheryl Coryea did when you bought a $5000 desk in Rochester then hid it off of the school district's property.  The difference is you can't fire me.  Too bad.,...I'd nail you for $300,000 too, like she did when she settled out of court.

You sir are covering your arse and no one except for your toadies are falling for it.  If you planned on paying for it all along, why didn't you just say so to begin with?

Bill, without all your hard work very little of this information would have come out. On behalf of all concerned citizens in Bibb county I would like to thank you for your tremendous work. Cockroaches love the dark and places to hide, so keep the spotlight on him and his overpaid minions and we will eventually eradicate our infestation. He has to know his time is short here thanks largely to your efforts. I have a niece and some other family members enrolled in public schools and they also wanted me to thank you. After all, this is who you are actually helping, the kids in school now on those who will enroll down the road. So keep that spotlight shining until all the roaches crawl out of town.

If it weren't for Bill Knowles, Darren Latch, Angel, and a handful of others, the Miracle would be blissfully floating along, its pumps at full speed, probably preparing for a voter referendum this fall to increase the mill levy or something. In the words of Dr. Flowers, now "they was worried". Yes, these are some sensational stories, and they are not made up.

Mr. Knowles,

If Dr. D planned to pay for the trip the whole time, as he states, then why did the BOE pay the registration fee? Why did the BOE go to the expense to generate an expense check for his meals, etc? The answer is that he changed his mind when, thanks to your reporting, this trip came to light. If in fact he intended to pay all along and let the BOE cover his registration fee, wouldn't that be an atttempt to defraud the school system of the $1250 registration fee?

Very good, valid points - all, Cletus Frade!
The fact still remains and I cannot understand why our (Macon) journalists did not ask the obvious questions...
With his 'cabinet' members earning in excess of $120k - $160k why did they still have the audacity to have their way paid for them by our Bibb BOE - taxed funds, while this has NOTHING to do with Bibb's School system? Why were they not questioned about this? Why is '13' giving Dallemand a 'free propaganda' ride and not asking any of the "hard" questions? Added to my own questions - your own well-stated points above should have been asked as a matter of due-journalistic-diligence.... so much for today's 'investigative journalism... if it weren't for the likes of Bill Knowles and our community (Dallemand Miracle) opposition groups - there would be absolutely no news on this at all.........

New research goes AGAINST much of Dallemand's social services components of his Macon Miracle . . .
